People often fail to see value in their experiences because they are commonplace - to them! However, they are frequently far from common to others. Experiences don't necessarily have to be confined to work, for instance, you may have travelled extensively and could provide an independent consultancy service to people going on holiday.
Needs And Wants - The Basis of All Good Money Making Ideas
All good money-making ideas are based on a particular need or want. If people need or want something they will buy it, rent it, pay for someone to do it for them or find out about it. One of the best ways to find a profitable idea is to look out for unfulfilled needs and wants around you - things that people want but can't get, or things that annoy or worry them. This won't involve you in costly research - simply look at the things YOU want and can't get.
Being Creative With Ideas
Ideas are everywhere. Look at what others are doing and ask yourself: 'Could I do it cheaper or faster? Could I provide a better service?' You need to break out of the 'normal' way of looking at things to find new and better routes. Searching for opportunities requires wide, creative thinking!
