I am an ITEC qualified therapist in Holistic Massage, Aromatherapy, Reflexology. I also practice Thermo Auricular Therapy, Hot Stone Therapy and Indian Head Massage.

My Background

I was born and brought up in a small village in Staffordshire and studied Business Studies at Stafford College. I had many interesting positions and eventually went to work for a PR company in Shropshire before marrying and having my two boys. I worked in the family business whilst the boys were small but always felt that I wanted to retrain in another area. At the time some of my friends were doing various holistic courses which encouraged me to join an Indian Head Massage course. I enjoyed it tremendously and went on to train in Holistic Massage, Aromatherapy and Reflexology with ITEC. That was several years ago now and since then I have done many other courses.

I built my own personal therapy website around 4 years ago and a little over a year ago now I had a wonderful company called Spirit Quest build Stairway Of Life. The Stairway Of Life forum and website is dedicated to everyone with a passion for life, healing or ecology. We welcome therapists, qualified or students, or those just wishing to explore Complimentary Therapies and spiritual wellbeing. Since then I have built several other websites...Therapy and Beauty is a new one that I hope will serve the needs of both beauty and holistic therapists. I am always looking for new and interesting products to add to the site.

I have recently launched a new website called Holistic Dating which I hope will serve to bring like-minded people together, both for friendship and romance.

My Interests

A great deal of my time is taken up with therapies and my websites but I love to travel as often as possible and try different cuisines. Over the past year I have split my time between the UK and Sweden where we have a second home. I am a very keen cook and love entertaining. I have a huge love of animals and at the moment I have two dogs and a Siamese cat.

I love making my own soap and aromatherapy products from natural ingredients and at the moment I am experimenting with making my own chocolate. I am also a keen photographer.

Where I am now!

I live with my wonderful partner Thomas, who is Arab but has lived in Sweden for many years and my youngest son. As you can imagine our menus are very varied and Thomas often cooks food which his mother used to make in Jerusalem. We plan to travel to see his family later this year.

We have not long returned from the Loire area of France where we are looking for a large property that we can use as a retreat and run workshops and courses. We have fallen in love with the area around Chinon.
