I was born and brought up in Kingston upon Hull, close to East
Yorkshire. I've had a series of interesting jobs and moved
around the country a fair few times until I finally settled where I am
now in Beverley, East Yorkshire.
My Background
I have been into self-help books and courses since 1983 when I first
read a copy of Shakti Gawain's book 'Creative
Visualization'. I came across Louise Hay's
'You Can Heal Your Life' back in 1999 and within a
few weeks, was attending my first workshop. I went on to do the Louise
Hay teacher training in Ireland. Then, a year later, found
myself in San Diego, California on the advanced Louise Hay teacher
training course.
I have read many different books and attended many courses in my thirst
for knowledge. Now I have put all those years of reading and study to
good use, by producing my own workshops based on many different
teachings and wisdoms, to help others experience the satisfaction of
finding answers to their own questions for themselves.
I now run Workshops and Meditation Groups and practice Personal
Coaching both designed to help others to experience the pleasure of
personal development.
I have also received Usui/Tibetan Reiki attunements to the level of
Master, and absolutely love giving Reiki treatments and attunements.
At the moment, I work from home but have grand plans to create a Center
in Beverley where people can come and leave the cares of the world
behind. My idea is to find a guest house or small hotel with enough
room for everything.
The 'everything' will include:
A Coffee Shop where you can come and 'chill out',
have a coffee and meet friends in a lovely relaxed environment. A place
where local groups and societies can meet. Affirmation cards and gifts,
crystals, spiritual magazines, music, incense and more will also be on
sale there.
Therapy rooms, which will be light, airy and beautiful with comfortable
treatment beds, lovely aromas, soft lighting and gentle music. Perfect
for all your healing needs! There will be different therapies available
from different, qualified therapists, each day, so you’ll
have plenty of choice.
A workshop that will be large enough for twenty people. Meditation
groups, 'Pathways to Wisdom', 'POSITIVELY
ME!' and other spiritual and motivational workshops will take
place there as well as other things. Local workshop or group leaders
will be able to hire the workshop for a variety of different workshops
and groups.
A study where you will be able to read and research in peace. There
will be facilities for you to borrow books too.
A garden that will be a green, leafy space where you can come when you
need to 'chill out' for a while.
Overall, The Rainbow Centre will be a place full of magic where you can
come and leave the cares of the world behind for a while in a relaxed
and peaceful environment, A very special place to help bring a little
bit of magic into your life.

my dreams as well as what I currently do here. There are pages that
describe Reiki and tell you about various meditation techniques, as
well as oracles and horoscopes for your amusement, and a Forum where
members can ask questions and receive answers on all subjects of a
spiritual, motivational and inspirational nature.
